CSRware, a leading provider of carbon accounting and sustainability management software has recently opened offices in the new San Francisco Carbon Business Cluster (SF-CBC) at One Bush Street. This emerging environmental hub provides clean technology startups, environmental market participants, and other aligned organizations with turn-key, full services offices and multiple vendor discounts to CBC members. Other tenants include Det Norkse Veritas (DNV), the San Francisco Carbon Collaborative, and the International Emissions Trading Association (IETA).

Attached please find the San Francisco Carbon Collaborative's veto request of California Assembly Bill 1404 to Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. The bill concerns the outcomes of AB32 by providing additional legislative directive concerning the use of international offsets under a state-wide cap and trade program.
Position on Allowance Set Asides for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency under a California Cap-and-Trade Program

Attached please find the San Francisco Carbon Collaborative's position to the California Air Resources Board (CARB) on allowance set asides for voluntary renewable energy (RE) and energy efficiency (EE) investments under a cap-and-trade program.
Based on the findings and the collective experience of its members, the San Francisco Carbon Collaborative believes that an “appropriate” use of allowance set asides for renewable energy and energy efficiency projects will encourage continued and additional voluntary action in these areas.
